The full story

From training rooms to the auction stage.

Before the first auction hammer fell, Shaun spent almost a decade delivering training programmes for government transport teams — learning, from the inside, what makes a room of professionals engage rather than politely endure. That foundation is what every other chapter of this story is built on.

The pivot to auctioneering wasn’t a departure from that work. It was a direct application of it. Reading a room, sensing when to push and when to pause, making every participant feel their presence matters — these are the same instincts that make a training session land and a charity auction raise six figures. Shaun trained as an auctioneer and discovered the results spoke for themselves.

After establishing himself as one of Singapore’s most in-demand charity auctioneers, in 2019 Shaun founded his own company — building a complete offering for fundraising events: professional auctioneering and MC work, a digital bidding platform that removed the ceiling on what silent auctions and physical raffles could raise, and a hand-selected prize catalogue on a zero-risk consignment basis.

He reads a room the way a conductor reads an orchestra: knowing when to push, when to pause, when to let a moment breathe.

Cumulatively, across more than a decade and 500+ events, those causes have raised over $100 million. That number didn’t happen by accident. It happened because Shaun treats every event like the outcome depends on it — because it does. Whether the close is a winning bid or a room aligned on a decision, the room stays with him until it gets there.

Corporate clients noticed. The same discipline that produces record-breaking charity nights — deep preparation, real-time room reading, outcome over script — translates directly to a conference stage or a leadership offsite. These days, Shaun drives results at 75+ events a year across Singapore and Asia: black-tie galas, industry forums, corporate conferences, and leadership offsites where the stakes are just as real, and the approach is exactly the same.

He works from your outcome — the dollar figure you need to hit, the alignment your leadership team needs to leave the room with, the message your conference needs people to remember in the weeks ahead. Your content, your leadership team, and your cause stay the star of the show.

That’s the commitment. That’s what 75 events a year and more than $100 million raised, across both rooms, looks like in practice.
